Resumo: The host organization is a non-profit organization in Leipzig in the social sector. The department of EU-exchange projects is organizing training placement, internships and language courses for young and older people since 2004. The host organization has experience working in mobility and participated in a number of European programs (Leonardo da Vinci, Youth in Action, Grundtvig and Comenius). FThe organization did already organize internships and programs beside the social sector, such as IT, Mechanical engineering, administration, culture and tourism.
The organization intends to help young people coming to Leipzig to learn German and develop professional skills. As well we have been developing programs requested from partner organizations to help educators and social workers to learn more about the social work in Germany. We can organize specialized programs for experts working in this sector.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteers will focus their attention on the following topics: Intercultural Dialogue, Art and Culture, Youth and Children, Entrepreneurship, Youth Information and European Awareness.

With the help of the European volunteers we aim to spread the information about the possibilities of active engagement in Europe and by means of creativity and art to draw the attention of the public. The project aims as well to develop further competences and skills in the areas of Creativity, being Active, Openness and Social ideas.

The participants at the kindergartens will have the opportunity to experience a whole year of kindergarten life. They will also be encouraged to realize their own project with children beside following the common daily activities of the kindergarten. The active engagement of the European volunteers will inspire children, educators, parents and the local community to ponder over the future of Europe and to work step by step on the creation of this future. During the duration of the project the children of the hosting institutions will have direct contact with young Europeans, who by means of their ideas, desires and interests will have an immediate influence on the children's development. Through implementing own projects the volunteers can develop their entrepreneurship and try themselves as entrepreneurs.
The volunteering placements offer a wide range of possibilities for an active artistic and creative engagement. In BuchKindergarten there is a possibility to print books, the Kindergarten works with the concept of exercising and sport activities,the Forestkindgerarten concentrates on nature pedagogy, and the kindergartens.
