Resumo: The organization where the volunteer will carry out activities such as workshops on new technologies, cooking, music, where young and old will exchange knowledge and experiences. In addition, the volunteer will provide support in the provision of services in the Home for the Elderly and in the implementation of activities and courses aimed at improving the quality of life of older people with preventive objectives and promotion of coexistence , Participation and solidarity.

Perfil: The volunteer´s profile is a young person with interests in youth policies, leisure and free time, art and culture.
Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The project will take nine months in Calahorra, during this time we will host one volunteer. The volunteer´s profile is a young person with interests in youth policies, leisure and free time, art and culture.
The activities are to inform our youngsters throught our presence in highschools and in our headquarters, the Internet and social networks about the chances and oportunities they have in Spain and all over Europe; beside encourage them to participate in an active way in the society throught volunteerism and their belonging to youth organizations.

By the other hand, the volunteer tasks in the Elderly Center will take part by intergenerational activities as exchanges of knowledge and experiences in technology, cooking, music... Besides, the volunteer will help in specific workshops and courses for elderly people that help them to promote participation, solidarity or coexistence.
The volunteer will be always surrounded by our volunteers and there will be also a person (beside his mentor) who will acompany him along all the activities he will develop during his service. In every different workshop he will also work with an specific worker or volunteer.
His labor in the activities will be as support and we will encourage him to get more involved and to promote new projects that can fix with our activities.

The volunteer will participate dayly in activities with elderly people which create an experiences exchange both in an intercultural and intergeneational level that will help our elderly people to open their minds to new experiences, generation or cultures.
For us the main benefit of this project is the volunteer´s presence as a European movility´s reference as well as an opening reference
