Resumo: Our organisation was founded in January 2010 and whole staff of organisations had been working just as volunteers. This changed in september 2011, when we got one empoyee. We are placed in a House, which used to be a center for catholic youth and adult people. Thsi House was founded more than ten years ago. The program structure had been targeted only to roma-catholic adult people, but in 2009, younger volunteers with more younger and fresh ideas came to volunteer in this place, which was officially registered on 7.1.2010.

Nowadays, the most visible part of organisation activities is voluntary cafeteria. The aim of the cafeteria is to provide nice place to meet to share the faith and frendship. The cafeteria is open for everybody, but most of the visitors are members of other church communities. The cafeteria is no-smoking place and we offer just nonalcoholic drinks and some snacks. Other activities are charity events, working with small groups (most of the time in religious way), networking activities, organising lectures on different topics (philosopshy, religion, intercultural dialogue, history, nature, science,...), concerts,...

Tarefas: Come and join a cheerful cosy community center with a spirit of greater things! We do more than just serve coffee (volunteers only ;))...
We are a community place and a coffee house merged under one roof located in the historical city centre. Our center is driven by the group of young and enthusiastic volunteers who are glad to serve the others and improve themselves in many ways. There are various activities taking place in Quo Vadis: coffee place, gallery with art exhibitions, lectures, concerts, charity events, group debates and many other projects.

General tasks: incorporate in the community of volunteers who are serving guests in cafeteria, shopping, cleaning, events, communicating. get involved in learning languages. Your main duties will take no more than 50% of your time since we care about your personal development

Condições: The EVS-volunteers will be living in an appropriately equipped flat. They can find there laundry facilities as well as fully equipped kitchen. We will find the accommodation for you.
The EVS-volunteers will receive money for food together with the pocket money at the beginning of every month.
Volunteers will use public transport in Bratislava (busses, trams, trolleybuses). They will arrange the card for public transport together with their mentor. :)
