Resumo: Center of free time activities is located in a former school. The building offers lunchroom with kitchen, gym, and club rooms suitable for all kind of activities and cultural events. A large garden is also part of the building as well as children playground used for all kind of activities. Some activities take place in the city castle garden, school sport grounds, city square etc. These event are occasional.

Perfil: We are preferably looking for a volunteer who is:
- CREATIVE (This is important as many of the activities you will be involved in will require a creative spirit and a spirit of initiative)
- COMMUNICATIVE (You have to be able to communicate with the staff, either orally or by gestures, however active English is important, as well as your own will to learn the Czech language. Active communication with children is essential during activities)
- RESPONSIBLE (This is obvious since you will be working with children most of the time and should act as their role model)
-Age: 17-30

Tarefas: Accommodation will be arranged in a furnished, privately rented flat shared with another volunteer. Meals are not usually provided by the organisation, so the volunteer is expected to arrange their meals themselves using the money given to them for this purpose (=food allowance). The volunteer can walk from their flat to the place where activities will be held, it will not be necessary for them to use public transport for that purpose. The participant can also make use of their own bicycle, which they can borrow from the hosting organisation. Transport to far-off events is normally arranged.

Horário: The Centrum is looking for a volunteer to take part in a one-year-long voluntary service. The project will be focused on free time and extra-curricular activities for children and youth (marginal focus on adults as well), public outdoor events (e.g. the Day of Europe, Day of Languages, Welcoming summer holidays, Music festivals, etc.), promotion of such activities and of other general issues (e.g. volunteering) among youngsters, etc. The volunteer will spend one year working in the Organisation - 10 months on its premises(over the school year from Sept 2017 to June 2018) and 2 months at summer camps away (July and August 2018). Activities will include: helping organise hobby clubs (so called ‘kroužky’), one-off events, trips for children, game days, weekend events, etc. run by the organisation and its staff; helping with everyday running of the organisation and preparation of activities; and much more.
