Resumo: The host organization is part of the network of French spread all over the world. It is the center of French culture and language and the only center testing DELF / DALF in the South Moravia. Its mission is to promote francophone culture and the teaching of the French language. Therefore we organize language courses, general and specialized, and cultural events, including big festivals such as Bonjour Brno or Festival of French movies. The organization also has a library where students and the public can borrow books and movies and where events are held, such as movie night or game evening. This is also task of the volunteer, to manage running of the library (lending, returning books, creating databases etc.) and organize theme nights. Volunteers also animate tours in Alliance Francaise for children and students, and go to schools in the region to promote French culture. During the festivals the volunteer is in charge of the team of volunteers (planning and coordination).

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The organization is a non-profit organisation with two main activities:
- As language school: It provides courses of French language, from beginners to advanced students; organizes exams at a national level and delivers an official degree
- As a cultural center: It organizes different cultural activities during the year (ciné-café, conferences, tasting evenings), and one month festival presenting French culture through different disciplines (festival Bonjour Brno).
It is also a pole for welcoming French people who just moved to here and who need advice.
The volunteer will closely work with the staff of the organization (director, coordinator, and teachers). We want him/her to feel part of the organization, his/her role will be to help with workshops of French language for pre-school and 7-12 years old children, build relationships with schools in region, help organise events for francophone families with kids.
