Resumo: InformaGiovani runs three kind of activities.
1. Information initiatives for youth and youth workers (managing online database, organize seminars and trainings, producing leafleats)
IG manage an online database with information for young people with more than 23.000 registered users. We try to organize information meeting at university and/or for local organizations.
2. International voluntary service activities (local workcamps, send volunteers abroad, promote new EVS in Sicily and send Sicilian EVS abroad)
3. International mobility activities. We host and send groups in Youth exchanges all over the year. We're trying to organize also Leonardo da Vinci projects.
All activities are also connected to social inclusion aims. We've a strong co-operation with Juvenile Justice system, in order to include young offenders in our projects (as part of their rehabilitation process) and to train social youth workers on European programmes they can use in the frame of their work.

Perfil: Taking into account the motivation, the CV and the interest shown by the candidate for the specific themes of the project, preference is given to volunteers with basic knowledge of Italian language. Volunteers with past experience in international activities (mainly youth exchanges and workcamps) are welcome. Past experience with communication tools (graphics and/or webtools) is welcome.

Tarefas: EVS volunteers will help in all activities. We host 3 simultaneously. All of them must be aware of all activities even if each of them has specific tasks connected to their personal interests, their knowledge of Italian language, their attitudes. 1. EVS tasks connected to information are: update the website www.right-to-information-eu , update the information italian database (www.bancadatigiovani.info), prepare the quarterly newsletter for subscribers, get in contact with local associations and university to organize seminars and meeting to promote Youth in Action and/or other EU programmes, take part in local initiatives to promote informaion. 2. In connection with promotion of volunteering: support the organization of local workcamps (get in contact with local partners, help with the logistic, stay in contact with local/international volunteers, facilitate placement of local volunteers in international projects abroad) 3. In connection with international mobility projects, EVS tasks are: getting in contact with local participants to youth exchanges, facilitate their involvement in the projects, stay in contact with international partners for both sending and hosting groups, help with the logistic of youth exchanges to be hosted in Italy All EVS must take part in activities connected to the inclusion of young offenders (meet them during the preparation of their participation in activities, participate in the evaluation meetings, facilitate the logistic and the bureaucracy of their participation, staying in contact with local authorities)
