Resumo: The Association is an NGO where the founding members, collaborators and the volunteers try to give the best opportunities and tools to the children and the teenagers, plus their families, which live in a very disadvantage situation where they could have social, economical and cultural vulnerability. For this reason in 2011 the Association was founded in a legal form and start to do activities in the counties. From then until now all the team tries to create the right contest in which personal initiative, personal responsibility and citizenship can be manifest and be developed.

The project wants to reestablish the opportunity for the children, their families and the local community of having volunteers. For almost 3 years the village had the opportunity to have volunteers this give to the children a place to stay after school that wasn’t the street and people who care about them. The presence of the volunteers helped to monitor the situation and to understand the issues of Berzasca, like psychological and emotional neglect.

The project is planned to respond to the issues that past projects discover and to give support mainly to the children and the teenagers but also to their families.

Perfil: The volunteer we would like to host should have a strong motivation to spend 7 months in on other country and to be actively involved in the activities of the project, plus an open mind for the realty and different culture that they will encounter. The age of the volunteer have to be between 18-30 years old. We hope to find people willing to develop personal skills, abilities and attitudes like communication, team work, conflict management, negotiation and decision making, ect.
We would like that our future volunteer have a basic knowledge of English that will help him in his development and in the project.

Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will be in the centre of a path where he can develop skills that will be useful both for in a future work and for a personal growth.
The tasks for the volunteer will be:
• Daily not formal education activities with children;
• Activities for development of creativity and skills;
• Weekly not formal education activities with the teenagers,
• Themed-campaign for environment, human rights, European values and social responsibility for raising awareness ;
• Providing guidance and support for local youth who would like to take part in international youth exchanges or volunteering (EVS or other opportunities).
• Promoting and sharing the activities and the events thought a blog and a Facebook page.
