Resumo: The organization is a 50 years old association that offers activities for children and adults. It promotes civic values, responsible behaviors, and acces to culture for all. Living together is a goal that the team, 25 employees and 60 active volonteers, keep in mind.
In addition with management, decision maing bodies, the host of the members and the secretariat, the association is divided into two areas :

- Recreation : members of the association may, from 3 years old, practice leisure activities (drama, singin, arts, etc.) witch are managed by employees or volonteers. We encourage all activities to participate in community life (organization of shows, concerts, housekeeping, communication, etc.)

- Social action : members who are in a precarious position may, for a modest fee, participate to ponctual leisure activities or families activities, learn french, use activity rooms to make and share meals or to organize parties, to discuss with tea or coffee while the children can be kept in the structure by an employee. The educated youth from 8 to 14 years old may be accompanied with homework after school, by four days per week. And we propose to support the families for the first departures on holidays.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The volonteer who will join our team will learn to built events (preparation, organization, evaluation), to work with different partners (volonteers, employees, associations, institutions), to work in autonomy. He or She will learn to teach some words in his language, learn french, develop skills in education, in welcoming people, in cooperative work. He or She probably will develop more confidence in himself to carry out projects in his future.

The volonteer will be responsible for preparing the events related to the topic of Europe and will propose language activities to members of the association (by offering to teach simple words or to create games in his/her mother language). He or She will also be a time of reception of members every week with an employee (it will be physical reception and telephone). The time spent in structure will be 35 hours per week.

The volonteer will participate in various events of the structure as a volonteer, and in youth activities in collaboration with the facilitator. He may participate as a member of the association in activities of their choice in the structure for free (only if the course is not complete). He or She may also take the initiative of an event (for thematic evening, with his country of origin, for example) or of a youth activity (create an object, for example).

We cooparate with another social center located in Gagny (another town in Seine-Saint-Denis). Our projects are close and we can host 2 volonteers between our two organizations.
