Resumo: The Association is a local institution established by the parents of mentally disabled children. Our aims are focused on working for equaling chances of intellectual disabled people, creating conditions of obeying human rights in their surroundings, leading them towards active participation in social life and supporting their families.Our branch includes 200 members and takes care more than 1000 people through diverse forms of day activity.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: Our volunteers will be working with people with intellectual disabilities in many different centers.
Volunteers will be working in therapy workshops with art and sport activities, also as a English teacher for people with disabilities.

In Education Rehabilitation Center for people with high disabilities (volunteers are involved in working in group). Those are children from 7 to 23 years old. Children have their educational, school activates, connected with other rehabilitation, sport, music therapy, cafeteria etc.
Volunteers also support our adults in individual work but also in group activities in Daily Center. This is center were people with disabilities have daily activities connected with rehabilitation and outside activities.

Another center is Supported Home for disabled people. This is place where people with disabilities are leavening independently with support of workers. Volunteers are responsible for organizing social activities for them.

We have also orchestra for people with intellectual disabilities and music school for them. We have theatre and music band for Evs volunteers and for polish disabled and polish volunteers. All those groups are playing concerts and theatre shows regularly.
Another think is Big brother – Big Sister program. Every volunteer have his own disabled friend and they have to meet one time in the week and spend time like a friends. So go to restaurant to cinema or play some sport together.
