Resumo: Youth center was founded on 25th of May in 2005. Until 01.23.2013 it was an independent public organization. Then the Municipality merged it with the Public Institute of Culture. From than on we are a Public Institute of Culture, Youth and Sports. Our Youth Centre is a part of bigger organization. We now already have a ten years of experience with organizaing and carried out a series of different activities for young people in several different areas. We operate mainly in the field of non-formal education, culture, information and counseling, prevention, sport, intercultural dialogue, we are a link in contacts between young people and their organizations locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Recently, we have developed a lot of contacts with individuals as well as organizations from abroad. We want our already rich international experience to be further ennobled.

Perfil: The first criteria and also the most important one is that you enjoy working with young people and that you already have some experience in volunteering. We would like that the selected volunteers already have some basic knowledge of photography, video and music as well as a basic knowledge of graphic design programs.
It is extremely important that the volunteer is open minded and communicative and that you know how to quickly establish contacts with new people. It is desirable that the volunteers already have some experience in cooperation in international activities for young people.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: We will be hosting two volunteers. The main responsibility of both volunteers will be support and work in the day centre. In the day centre we are preparing and organizing various activities for youth between the ages of 15 and 30. The main task of the volunteers will be help with the organization and preparation of the monthly program of the centre. The work will be mainly done in the afternoons.
Volunteers will also be responsible for the preparation of promotional materials - designing of posters and flyers, photographing, filming and production of video clips from various events,… We also have a group of young people that do electronic music. They started with live broadcasts. We would like to see that one of the volunteers is interested in music. The other volunteer will participate in the preparation and production (specially designing process) of the youth magazine.
