Resumo: A estadia é de 9 meses; o projecto deve começar já no início de Setembro! A organização de acolhimento é o Infopunkt Nadobrze "Łokietka 5" que é um ponto de informação criado e gerido pela Fundação "Dom Pokoju".

Abaixo segue a descrição mais detalhada das actividades propostas ao voluntário:

Nadodrze district is the most neglected part of Wroclaw with special climate of 19th century tenement houses as well, plenty of dirty yards, where children play without any security. Our organization support Municipality's renovating program to stimulate development and attract district for tourist, artists and citizens, complementing process which usually pass the playground and social problems. 6 volunteers from Germany, France, Portugal, UK and Turkey will spend 9 months (August 2011 to April 2012) will join our team to look for solutions to change the image of the district and changing it as well and develop our Mobility Center promoting idea of mobility and building new opportunities for young people and seniors. Volunteers will have a chance to work together with local community and to be a part of it. Living in this district they will have an opportunity to notice its problems and discover its potential. Involving these young people from different countries, with lot of experiences and enthusiasm is innovation rescue for neglected district as well as an interesting and new experience for the group but also a big impact to strengthen the system supporting youth activities in range of EU mobility. Activities are based on “local community activation” and “open space” methods. First assumes that involving local community and using the simplest available measures connected with external influence is the est way to make a permanent and suitable, positive change of neglected area. Second one is usually practiced by our Center group and bring us various conclusions and common democratic achieved solutions. Project contains regular work in the Łokietka 5 Center for Mobility Centerdevelopment (partners searching, presentation and conferences about mobility organization, meeting with beneficiares, conferences, creating new projects) and local activities - workshops, performances, yard actions, events, etc.
