Resumo: The host organization is a non-profit organization focused on intercultural education and developing youth work in the local community.

Our main objectives are:
- development of intercultural dialogue,
- intercultural education and increasing the awareness of other cultures,
- promoting tolerance and unterstanding,
- fighting discrimination and xenophobia,
- facilitating the discovery of individual cultural identity,
- training social skills,
- promoting and implementing voluntary service,
- organisting free time activities and cultural animation projects,
- implementing and promoting nonformal education.

We realise our aims through the following activities:
- implementing trainings and workshops on intercultural dialogue and social skills for children, youth and adults,
- organising intercultural meetings and events open for local community,
- realising international youth projects: exchanges, training courses, seminars, conferences,
- organising and facilitating voluntary service projects,
- animating free time and holiday activities for children and youth,
- running an information and counselling center on personal and professional development for youth,
- regular activities withing the development of a youth club,
- individual projects and innitiatives suggested and developed by organisation's members or volunteers.

We focus our activities on youth and we involve young people in activities designed to benefit other target groups. Every summer we organise a big summer camp for kids with the international group of volunteers. During the year we realise many projects designed for teenagers and young adults. We implement frequently events for the whole local community.

Perfil: Strongly motivated and open for variety of experiences in working with different age groups in varied environments; interested in proposing and ipmlementing new innitiatives.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The EVS project is focused on the intercultural education and developing the dialogue between cultures. It's implemented via various activities, workshops, events, meetings and social animation. The project involves the whole local community. The target groups which the volunteers work with are varied: from kinder toddlers, children, youth and adults until the students of Third Age, as well as youth with certain disabilitites. Volunteers' tasks are based on individual activities, according to the competence and confidence, as well as assisting the professionals in their work.
