Resumo: The office of the hosting organization is located in a region that is famous for the beauty of our landscapes (old volcanoes, medium altitude mountain range, lakes and rivers, etc.). There are a lot of opportunities for hiking, climbing, etc. all around the city. You will find here all that you need and there are a lot of possibilities for leisure activities (sport, music, theatre, concert, cinemas).

The host organization is also famous for hosting a Short Film Festival, one of the world's leading international festivals for short films, as well as the corporate headquarters of Michelin, the global tyre company created more than 100 years ago in the city.

Perfil:  Adaptation, to be communicative and easy to approach to a different audience;
 Convinced by non-formal education principles and benefits;
 Speak good English and/or French or to be motivated to learn French;
 Motivation for European projects and international workcamps;
 Motivation for co-leading a group of international volunteers;
 Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The aim of this project is to promote volunteering in the region. The main role of the volunteer will be to emphasize the international aspect of organization´s activities. Thanks to her/his presence, we want to promote youth participation, volunteering, develop European project in the frame of the Erasmus+ program and continue to set up international workcamps in the region.

In particular, the activities will be:
 To promote the organization´s activities in various events: forum, festival...

 To contribute to European projects:
- Promoting voluntary service (EVS, “service civique”) with new tools, to be defined;
- To support the staff to set up a youth exchanges and a European training with local partners.

 In the frame of the workcamps season (generally from june to september):
- To assist the staff during the workcamp season and before, for its preparation.
Practical support is needed for various tasks: preparation of material for workcamps (tents, tools...), link with the local communities which hosts the workcamps...
- To co-lead an international workcamp (2 or 3 weeks) after having participated to a specific training.

The detailed activities will be defined both by the volunteer and the staff, according to the volunteer's skills and interests.

Horário: The volunteer will work approx. 32 hours per week

Condições: Working and living conditions: Accommodation and food will be provided. The volunteer will be accommodated in a flat above the office. She/he will have her/his own room and she/he will have shared bathroom/kitchen with one another volunteer. Internet access will be also available.
In addition the volunteer will get pocket money (€115 per month) and €7.5 a day for the food, following EVS funding rules.
