Resumo: The Youth Department has the Youth Space, a large department of 8 consultancies offering comprehensive, free, public and individual service for young people. One of these, it is a space where the young people can find information and counseling on the following programmes:- Young Tourism (work camps, summer camps, youth hostel card, travel guides, accommodation etc)- European youth programmes such as the Youth in Action Programme(Eurodyssee,Leonardo da Vinci, etc.)- Bolsa de Idiomas is a programme based on non-formal learning, which allows language/ cultural exchanges between young people and other young people from other countries through socio-cultural and leisure activities.

The Youth Department has first-hand knowledge about the EVS, since it has received EVS volunteers in different municipal service (Informajoven, Youth Space, Youth Resource Center) in the early years, through the Inter-jovenes Youth Association, in which the Youth Department was a coordinator ,and nowadays we have an agreement with the Socio-cultural Association.

The Youth Space, from its establishment in November of 2006, welcomes European Volunteers. The experience has been and is being so rich that leads us to continue in the same line of action where EVS volunteers can develop their activity in the different programs of our organization.

Perfil: -Be motivated and interested about the project issues;
-Possibly have previously experienced voluntary activities, not necessarily
-Be flexible and interested in learning Spanish as a foreign language.
-Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The volunteers will carry out their EVS Activity in the Youth Council of the City, collaborating in the different programs promoted by this entity, all programs related to youth and social with children and youth.
Program for young readers, local volunteers, Youth Information, language exchanges (Bolsa Idiomas), Erasmus Student Network of the University, Youth Space Children's library (The Botika of the Book), etc.
They will support the operation of all these programs, participating in the development of socio-cultural activities.
