Resumo: The Organisation was founded in 2012 to support the culture and to promote volunteering in the city of Hradec Kralove (approx. 100.000 inhabitants).

We are aware of the fact that EVS could have very positive influence on the volunteer, as well as on the community he/she is doing his voluntary service for. As a part of our efforts we are introducing EVS volunteers to our activities sharing common experiences and skills with multicultural dimension. The city of Hradec Kralove is typical regional centre with plenty of possibilities for culture development; however lack of tourism and international presence in general, leads to the persistence of many stereotypes.

In past few years at least the number of the foreigners living in the city grown, making the town citizens feel the touch of foreign cultures. There are movements working with ideas of volunteering and active citizenship but, as far as we know, we are only EVS accredited organization directly in city which would host EVS volunteers with aim of suppoport ideas of international volunteering on European level, offering volunteers experiences from many different fields (we cooperate with many local organizations which provide additional experience/education to our volunteers). In addition we support and organize small scale cultural events, youth exchanges and trainings aimed mostly on fulfilling our mission which was mentioned above.

Our main target groups: children and youth, students, teachers, social workers, youth workers, civil and governmental institutions, NGOs.

Perfil: - For this project the hosting organization KURO Hradec Králové is looking for 1motivated volunteer. Together with other 4 volunteers (from Belgium, Italy and Russia) he will work with children in nursery schools, elementary schools and secondary schools, organizing a wide scale of activities in fields of education, culture and social issues. Therefore, the volunteer should be able and willing to work with young people.
- Volunteers who enjoy working with children are most welcome to join this project.
- Volunteer should have communicative knowledge of English language so he can endure with his everyday activities.
- Potential candidates will be asked to do a Skype interview with staff of hosting organization.

Tarefas: To promote Erasmus+ programme and EVS as a learning experience in the city of Hradec Kralove. Volunteers are welcome to discover different learning opportunities and contribute to local community by organization of educational/leisure activities for children and teenagers aged 4-18. They will be preparing and organizing presentations, workshops and other activities that will support the children’s development as well as personal development of themselves. The volunteer will have a chance to share his culture, cuisine, language, etc. through organizing workshops, discussions and lectures for local people. Volunteer will also help with day to day work of the hosting organization KURO Hradec Králové and will have an opportunity to take part in events organized by partners of the hosting organization.

Condições: - Volunteer will live in a shared apartment (in separate room or shared room with other volunteer of the same gender)
- Volunteer will receive monthly money for food and pocket money
