Resumo: The host organization is focused on reaching different kinds of youth at risk, and youth in general, age 13 – 25, through differentiated services and dynamic youthwork. Efforts are made in order to decrease and prevent risk factors, and more general; working on young peoples rights - regulated by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child – by transforming approved youthpolicy into concrete actions.

Perfil: Open minded and highly motivated volunteers, preferably with some experience/skills in intercultural learning processes and/or competence within youth culture activities; music, media, film, dance, sports/outdoor activities. The working language will be English until the volunteers are familiar with Norwegian. Persons who are attracted of getting experience/practice within a wide spectre of approaches in the field of youth- and social work and non-formal education, should consider to apply for this EVS-project.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: Together with local youngsters and youth workers the volunteers will organise different cultural events, workshops and youth activities in general. Key words describing some relevant tasks are:
- PR; production and distribution of posters, flyers, advertisment, etc.
- They will be reaching out to those who might be intereseted in the activities, using tactical recruitment in some areas.
- A part of the work will also include the building of workgroups prior to the events and coaching them towards deadline.
- Budgetting and charting costs and equipment will also be a part of the work within the organisation of the different events.

Other Examples of core activities and methods are:
- Promotion of YiA in general, and especially Action 2. Assisting/coaching young people who want to do an EVS.
- Coaching youth groups and small projects for youth during school holidays. E.g sports activities.
- Possibilities to work in other teams across the seven units in the organization.
