Resumo: Project aims to increase the awareness on Cultural Heritage and its preservation as well as to introduce Armenian history to other cultures
Volunteering with a Archaeology Project in Armenia is a great chance and a choice for young people between 17-30 years old in developing practical skills in the field of archaeology and gaining a deeper understanding of the history of the country of Armenia. While living and working in Armenia, the EVS volunteers will gain hands-on experience in a range of archaeological and historical work.
As being a volunteer on the Art Archaeology project in Armenia, the volunteers will be based in various locations throughout the country. The main base will be Yerevan, a city with 1200,000 inhabitants.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The volunteers will work with a number of archaeological groups, including Armenian Museum of History as well the Institute of Archeology.
Our Archaeology placements in Armenia are a wonderful way to learn about civilizations that have long since disappeared. Through clues, investigations, and practical research, you can attempt to reconstruct many aspects of their way of life while collaborating with some of the best specialists in the country.
By taking part in volunteer archaeological work in Armenia, the volunteers will gain hands-on experience in the field and learn many relevant practical skills. The range of work is diverse and the volunteers will find ways getting involved at excavation and restoration sites all over Armenia. At the beautiful sites volunteers excavate, clean, and reconstruct pottery pieces, tools, or other items that have been found there
