Resumo: The City Youth Services is a municipal unit that provides a variety of services and activities for young people in the area of the town of Lahti. We work in the field of non formal education and we provide quality free time activities in a safe and substance-free environment for young people in the area. We organize youth work in youth houses, youth information centre, multi agency centre Domino and in several employment units in additoin to several projects. In our activities / work our most important target group are young people from 10 to 25 years. We also have a multicultural centre that offers possibilities for civic activity, most of the activities in the centre is run by volunteers living in Lahti. At the multicultural centre there are no age limits or other requierments

Perfil: This project is perfect to person who is interested to learn Finnish high quality youth work – leading youth groups, understand and learn the dynamics of face to face meeting whit young people, organize activities. We appreciate persons who are interested to work whit young people and have good motivation to learn new skills. The task will be of course tailored cording to the persons inters and skills.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: Frame of the work will be youth work and EVS will be working in 2 different places.

• Working in youth club with young people in their free time activities.The Youth club have a good facilities to organize different activities cording to volunteers inters.
• Working in a frame of School youth work. Volunteer will be working together side by side our school youth worker in junior high school and help her every day work.
