Resumo: Strives to conserve wild birds and their habitats. The organisation monitors activity that threatens wild birds, such as illegal hunting and trapping and urban development in conservation areas.

Part of an international network of fully co-ordinated ringing stations and National Ringing Schemes that have been indispensable for the efficient management of scientific bird ringing in Europe.

Our school projects remain a top priority because of our belief that inculcating a respect for nature at an early stage can prevent future environmental degradation and abuse.

Partner of BirdLife International, a conservation organisation operating in over one hundred countries and territories worldwide.

Perfil: Aged 18-30
- Living in one of the programme or partner countries listed on www.erasmusplus.org.uk/participating-countries
- Outgoing, friendly, keen to meet new people, socialise and experience a different culture
- Interested in bird conservation and/or environment protection
- Interested in improving bird, plant and other taxa identification skills
- Interested in inspiring & educating people about birds and the natural world
- Willing to do hands-on conservation work ranging from fieldwork aimed at protection of wild birds from illegal killing to raising public awareness in events
- Willing to develop administration, work prioritising, numeracy and people skills
- Willing to learn and having an adaptable work attitude commensurate with the needs of a charitable organisational structure including working flexible and occasional long hours

Tarefas: - Design printed materials including the organization’s promotional leaflets, banners, logos and educational materials
- Design printed magazine using InDesign
- Design web-based communications materials
- Design and produce graphics and visuals for website, social media and advertising
- Photo Production: edit photographs using Photoshop to be used in internal and external communication, identifying suitable media for communications use including social media, website, press work and design
- Video Production: produce and edit high quality video content for local and international audience using Adobe Premiere, produce videos for communication purposes and reports
- Play a key role in springwatch and raptor camp by downloading and organising photos and footage from teams and creating videos for comms/investigations reports
- Attend public and press events as a photographer/videographer
- Manage video uploads and channels, maintain relevant equipment
- Archiving: organising, labelling and and uploading multi-media material (photos and video) and maintaining the digital media (photos and videos) library
