Resumo: The host organization is seeking for 2 volunteers. Object: Cultural Experience and Non-formal Education provision

Perfil: Candidate must have basic French Language speaking skills prior to applying.
age: 17-26

Tarefas: The activities of the volunteers will mainly be focused on intercultural and non-formal practices. According to the organization, “in the field of culture, one of the first goal to achieve is that the individual could move away from his own culture, its tastes and discover what the other culture is made of”.

Regarding artistic and cultural practices this quotation is applicable to groups of individuals’ relationships. Education for diversity, dialogue, and respect for differences is nowadays part of numerous the organization’s practices

These projects are proposed to the volunteers:
- Events organisation as “Meetings around the educational movie festival” (organisation of sharing and debate from the festival of Evreux) in March 2018
- Join the management of a Caribbean free space for youngsters around culture, music and food in Mai 2018
Those spaces would allow sharing moment to promote active European citizenship of youth and local community.
Apart, the volunteers will discover the actions and the impact of CEME Martinique within the country so as their implement into some activities (cultural accompanying, school outings, etc.). Their experiences, paths, and skills will nourish our movement.

The expected outcomes for the volunteers and the local community are an increasing European consciousness, a European bound for an active European citizenship. At a regional level, this project will permit to touch the local and regional actors about European projects, particularly those facilitating youth mobility in Europe. It will also attract ambitious young Martinicans wishing to live a training mobility primordial to their personals and professional projects. At a national level, it will enhance the educational reflexions of the organization on the educational conditions of mobility. At European level, it will reinforce partnerships. All in all, this project foster the European citizenship and the commitment to an active citizenship.

Condições: The volunteers will live together in separate rooms. They will have an internet access, the house chores will be at their own charge.

The local transport: the organization will provide a bus card to the youth so they can move around the center of the island. Other destinations will be organised differently.

Food supply: Depending on the accommodation, either the volunteer or the family will receive an amount of money to organize the meals.

At their arrival, the volunteers will benefit from a discovery and adaptation period within the association. Then, they will assist salaries in their animation actions. As a training association, the organization propose to the youth to apply for the BAFA, a french diploma for caring for children.

Pocket money will be around 153€ per month.
The youth are free and autonomous. Some time is planed for them to work on their personal projects.
