Resumo: The host organization is a new institution dedicated to use for residents of the municipality on 10th November 2010. The mission of the center is to perform community tasks in cultural activities in the Commune. The main subject is to fulfill needs and cultural aspirations of society through the creation and dissemination various fields of culture, professional and amateur art. The center, as a cultural institution, was established to create, disseminate, promote and protect culture as well as to acquireand prepare the public to participate in culture and environmental education.

Perfil: We want to host 2 volunteers (1 form Spain, 1 from Portugal). Volunteers should have positive attitude, be responsible and involved. They should be ready to work with other people and be adaptable to new situation and society. We need volunteers who will be helpful, creative, motivated and able to get experience. They should be communicative, well organized and able to work in new society with all age groups. We expect that volunteers will speak English to communicate freely and understand their tasks.

It will be good if the interests of volunteers will be connected with our main topics – creativity and culture, teaching and learning foreign languages, intergenerational and intercultural education and lifelong learning. We are open to support and give the opportunity to develop volunteer’s skill – they can create their own workshops in our institution.

 Workshops about creativity, films, photography and the history of neighbourhood
 Workshops about creativity and culture
 Spanish/Portuguese lessons for different age groups
 Special activities for children during winter break
 Preparing brochure about our neighbourhood – in English
