Resumo: The Youth Community Heidehaus (Jugendsiedlung Heidehaus) is a place, where around 70 disadvantaged young people get an oppurtunity to live there and at the same time get educated and trained. Heidehaus is a small community close to the little town Augustdorf. In each of eight groups which are located in eight different houses on the territory of Heidehaus work a team of 6-8 social-workers and trainers with a group of 6-11 youngsters (who are 13 to 21 years old) depending on the groups intensity.
The intensity of the support depends on the individual needs of the young people. Some of them need nearly a one to one caring situation and others less. The younger ones still go to a small school, which is located within the community. The Youth Community Heidehaus also offers different job trainings (painter, bricklayer, gardener, cook, carpenter, housekeeper, office clerk) to the youngsters living at Heidehaus, who are around 16 years old.
