Resumo: This is an association of social promotion that uses the learning mobility, as a tool to support the personal and professional growth, intercultural dialogue and European awareness. By learning mobility means the transnational mobility undertaken for a period of time, organized for educational purposes, to acquire new skills or knowledge. It covers a wide range of projects and activities aimed at various age groups, and is implemented in both formal and non-formal contexts.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The volunteers will be actively embedded in the multiethnic and stimulating environment by exploiting the activities and the network of contacts. This will enable them to approach this context and act as protagonists thus making the most of the unique opportunity of the EVS. This close contact with the local community and the active participation in volunteering, informative and formative activities carried out by the organization will widely enhance the growing possibility for the volunteers.

Learning opportunities:
An EVS experience with the host organization allows the volunteers to improve and enhance their knowledge and attitudes through non-formal education means such as interactive workshops, practical laboratories, info days etc., in which the volunteers will take part and help in the organisation. The volunteers will be involved in a European environment and will have the chance to learn about how the European institutions (European Commission, Council of Europe, ..) are working with specific reference to the youth policies.

The volunteers will have the chance to “learn” how a non profit organisation is structured by experiencing in first person the everyday working life and by being followed, coordinated and guided primarily by the EVS supervisor and secondarily by the various working group responsible and other volunteers working with the organization.

They will improve their teamwork abilities by managing time, logistics and organisation of the activities together with the other actors involved. Being able to take part in this kind of experience is formative and educational from a personal point of view too. It increases the volunteers’ awareness of their capacities and boosts their self-esteem. These aspects will be highlighted and exploited by the mentor.

Priority will be done to the volunteers interested in intercultur, media and communication (digital competences are a plus). Volunteer needs to bring his/her own laptop.
