Resumo: The host organization is an associative kindergarten existing for 20 years which aims to favor the learning of bilingualism (French-German-Alsatian) and its affected cultures from the age of 3. The role of the young EVS will be to enrich through his/her presence, his/her culture and his/her language the projects of the kindergarten. He/She will perform a service of 10 months (from September until July). We offer him/her to work completely integrated in the educative team. Further on he/she will acquire a first significant experience in the field of small child care. His/Her status of additional person to the already present team of educators will enable him/her to interfere in each project and activity at all levels and in various situations at the kindergarten. During his/her stay, he/she will also be able to discover a new language and a new culture. Children are aged from 3 to 6 years and divided into three classes

Perfil: We look for a young german-speaking EVS who is aware about his/her linguistic and cultural richness and who is willing to share this with us; a dynamic and patient person who shows enthusiasm and takes initiative, shows enough responsibility to treat small children, helping them to learn their first lessons and rules such as the respect of each other and of the group. This implicates from his/her side a high interest and curiosity for small childhood, an attentive contact without ever forgetting security rules, personal attitude and know-how that are crucial for the work with small children.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: During school time he/she will interfere and/or accompany the classes in collaboration with the teachers or in semi-autonomy with small groups. The aim is to make the children speak, sing, paint, count and to control their body without ever forgetting the playful aspect. He/She will be informed about the accurate working plan but is also free to propose projects and share new ideas.

Horário: The EVS can also participate in the preparation and realisation of festive moments of the kindergarten. The young EVS will work 30-35 h/week, depending on the functioning of the kindergarten.(4 days/week).
