Resumo: The association is a specialized foster home which aims to welcome into its facilities and services, children or adults with disabilities.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The volunteer tasks can be divided into 4 groups in which the volunteer will register his service in lining in a multi-field team of social workers exerting the individual assumption of responsibility of handicapped people, unable to suffice themselves in the essential acts to the existence. Taking into account the dependence related to the handicap, it is a question of ensuring the people the greatest material and psycho love safety. The volunteer activities will be adapted to his desires, his capacities, his possibilities and his knowledge.

- Organisation everyday life :

 Participation in the wake up, in the slept as well as in the various meals of resident.
Participation in the resident activities that they have inside of the Center (games, painting, music,…)
 Participation at the resident relaxation moments (relaxation, reading, TV, computer, internet, …)
 Meals preparation in association with the organisation cooker
 Assistance of the resident in the everyday life acts (movement has the inside of the center, the recovery of object in height, etc.)

- Active participation in the activities :

 Accompaniment of the resident in their daily exits (very often for purchases to the city stores)
 Accompaniment of the resident in their outside leisure activities.
 Accompaniment of the resident in their culturals activities, divertissement, holidays camps.....

- Active participation in the meeting:

 The volunteer will take part into the differents meeting with the educator team.

- Proposition and creativity:

 Proposition to the volunteer to create of projects having for frame "Bring the culture and the European information to the resident of the Handas center having no access easily to it due to their handicap."
This project aiming at the organization of an event for the resident on the subject express above.
Some examples of already realized micro projects: "Christmas in Russia" with songs, meal and local traditions, "Geographical discovery of Turkey through its cooking", …

 Proposition to the volunteer to organize activities (cultural, sport,....) with resident.

The host organization will be very open to all proposals made by the volunteers, in the limit of consistency with the interests and opportunities of residents.
