Resumo: Our organizationare a volunteer-based organization that works around digital media with children, youngsters and youth workers. Thanks to their experience and expertise they create an experimental lab for this target group on the following themes:
Develop media competences and media ‘wisdom’
Sharing online information about or for youth and the youth work sector
Give support and training to the broad youth work sector (youth workers on national and local level, youth advisors) in working with digital media: workshops (technical and context-wise), advise, best practices, applications, sharing expertise, networking and offering services (e.g. create promotional video spots for them)

Perfil: - A basic media knowledge is a plus, but not necessary.
- Curiosity and enthousiasm to work with media, is a must-have!
Level of language skills:
Advanced level of English
Age:17-30

Tarefas: Media-creation in different fields: blogs and websites, social media, photography, video making, online communication, storytelling. In the first phase the volunteer will explore the different fields, both by training and completing assignments. After that, he/she will be able to choose a certain field to focus on and to develop a personal project.
Staff-support: logistic support, assist at workshops, contact with volunteers and the target group
If applicable, share their experience with and knowledge of digital media with volunteers, youngsters and staff members

The volunteer will work both in the office and on the field. In the office mainly to prepare assigned tasks and the personal project and to finalise them (e.g. editing, writing texts for diverse communication channels). On the field to do interviews, reportages, observe, get inspired, shooting video's, making pictures,...

Horário: 38 hours, just like a regular staff member.
