Resumo: The Association is a non- profit organization that since 1995 is working in the area of youth. Its main area of activity is directed to the promotion of the non formal learning on the local and international level and to offer information for Youth. It is composed by around 30 members, all between 14 and 30 years, from among which about 15 regularly voluntarily collaborate in carrying out some of our activities . Currently has two core areas of activity, first working from an international perspective in the preparation of seminars and training courses for professionals and youth in the area of social inclusion, development of competencies, active participation, etc. .

On the other hand has more direct intervention with youth, since we work with youth through giving youth information and organize non formal educational activities for young immigrants and local youth. The average users are usually young people between 16 and 30, of Moroccan, Ecuadorian or Spanish nationality and low or middle educational level..
Considering the above, the project described fits the main objectives of our organization

Tarefas: Volunteer will join one of the following programmes that we are running. We will ask you to select the programme preferences in the application form:

TASKS · The EVS volunteer will be working as a support in coordination of European projects like youth exchanges, training courses and other mobilities of youth by maintaining contact with organization’s partners. The volunteer will also help in co-creating the content of the projects (ex. Research, different contests, publications, T-Kits, etc) · The volunteer’s task will include participation in the activities on the local level with young people - like language exchange etc. · The volunteer will have some administration and office work activities. · The volunteer will be encourage to realize his/her own ideas for projects connected with the theme of the project. Volunteer needs to be interested in the international activities and Erasmus+:Youth in Action Programme, as well as have the preference to the office work.

Basic level of Spanish would be helpful. Tasks: · The EVS volunteer will be helping in organizing workshops and courses for local community, leisure and educational activities for children and youth, and local projects with the objective of fighting integration difficulties of recently arrived migrants in Lorca. · The volunteer’s task will include coordination of the youth centre: organization of regular workshops for young people, administration of the youth centre in coordination with the youngsters, participation in the local initative: , coordination of language Exchange (spoken english for youngsters ) and similar · The volunteer will be encourage to realize his/her own ideas for projects connected with the theme of the project. Volunteer needs to be interested in work with young people, motivation and enthusiasm to cooperate with them. For this place there is a strong preference for a person that likes to organize his/her own job and is able to come up with ideas. Basic level of Spanish would be helpful.
