Resumo: The Espacio Joven is a municipal service which depend on the Youth department of the Council, whose main objective is to ensure the active participation and integral development of young men / women among 12-30 years old through out information activities and non-formal training: values education, promotion of volunteering and youth associations, artistic, cultural, sporting and leisure activities, international projects in mobility, employment, etc...

The youth population of the municipality is approximately 4900 people among 12-30 years old, most students or young unemployed, predominantly lower-middle classes, regarding their socio- economic profile.
The staff of the Youth Centre consists of 4 full-time educators towards the development of the different activities and programs. In addition, it also has (8) part-time instructors who work in various workshops: language, dance, tutoring, photography, painting, music...

We have an extensive association network , consisting of more than 260 young volunteers or team members across five youth groups participating in the activities and actions planned by the Youth Centre .

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The main objective is to promote the European culture and the intercultural learning based on the diversity, helping the young people to integrate traditional customs, new languages… etc from the volunteers who are willing to participate in this experience.
