Resumo: MODAVI Federazione Provinciale di Napoli ONLUS is the Neapolitan section of MODAVI ONLUS (Italian association of volunteering). Is a social promoter directly working on discomfort and degrade situations by the diffusion of volunteers and human dignity culture.
The organization is inserted in a multi cultural context. Like any big city offers both positive and negative aspects which are now its peculiarities. There are certainly big problems of urban deprivation and social exclusion exacerbated by the presence organized crime and the lack of public services. Paradoxically there are positive elements also very strong. Active citizenship, volunteering, social activities are always organized by young people and students.

The aims of the organization are:
- Promoting active citizenships, especially between young people;
- Facilitate the participation of all young people in mobility schemes;
- Support and educate young people from disadvantaged groups in order to garantee a social inclusion;
- Encourage international youth exchanges and promote the European and international mobility;

Perfil: ability to interact with different cultures and environments and to communicate in a foreign language; building awareness about participation and involvement in local volunteer activities; actively participating in society; increasing self confidence; learning the real work behind an organization of events, workshops and courses; turning ideas into action through planning, organization and management; ability to solve problems and conflicts in a group; cooperating in teams.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The volunteers will support the hosting organization in the activities related to:
1)Europe: organisation of trainings and cultural activities for youth at local level; preparation of international exchanges and seminars;
2)Anti-violence center: organisation of the logistics of the counselling services for women who had experienced or are experiencing domestic and sexual violence, and events aimed to raise awareness on the topic,mainly in local schools;
3)Immigrants: support to the immigrant members of the local community, from Italian courses to finding work and education opportunities for them; workshops with children to encourage their integration;
4)Events: conception, preparation and implementation of cultural events in the local community;
5)Communication: management of the official web site of the association and the Facebook profile
