Resumo: The host organization is one of the oldest youth exchange organizations world-wide, founded as a volunteer ambulance service in 1914. Today the organization consists of a word wide network of independent the organizations in over 60 countries. Their main activities include High School based exchanges and international voluntary service, internships and other intercultural activities. Since 20 years the organization in Germany organizes different Voluntary Services abroad, currently the organization sends and hosts over 600 participants to and from about 40 countries word wide.
