Resumo: The host organization is a German-Dutch Adult Education Centre, which was founded in 1956 with the aim of achieving reconciliation between Dutch and German people after both World Wars. The organization is located in the small town, in the northern part of Germany, near the Dutch border.

Nowadays the organization is an education centre for youngsters and adults on both, national and international level.

The organization offers seminars, where participants can gather together to exchange information, to learn from each other, to learn to understand each other´s opinions and to tolerate different people and different point of views. The purpose of the organization is that people share their lives through common experience and learn new perspectives for everyday life. On the European level the organization works towards Europe without borders and peace and solidarity. We want to encourage especially young people to build up a climate of solidarity and tolerance in Europe. Our seminars deal with questions which are relevant to social, professional or personal aspects of life. Our list of topics comprises politics, ecology, economy, culture and languages.

The organization offers an environment where people can work together for several days. We offer seminar rooms, accommodation, high-quality kitchen and high level technical equipment which enable excellent working conditions. In addition to that the Europahaus has also PC -room, free time activity room, barbeque hut, cellar bar, sauna, fireplace room etc. The organization has a maximum capacity of 80 beds. The rooms are mainly double rooms equipped with shower and toilet. Partly the rooms are also designed for requirements of handicapped guests. The kitchen of the organization prepares variety of menus, including vegetarian food and special diets. The house can also be booked as a conference venue by guest groups.
