Resumo: The host organization has a few areas of realisation. The most important for EVS would be community centre which also runs free-time activity centre for children and youth threatened by social exclusion, which has opened in 2001. We provide meaningful activities for children and youth (6 to 26 years of age, average daily attendance is about 20 clients – it depends on a season, weather and other factors; daily attendance is usually higher during the summer holidays, then we have about 35 clients per day). We focus on art, sports, craft work and educational programmes. Many of our clients are from ethnic minorities. Due to the threat of social and economic exclusion of these children and youth, we also provide social counselling for our clients and their families.

Perfil: We are looking for a young, creative person
Age:18-30

Tarefas: The duties of the volunteers will lie mainly with children and youth from 6 to 26 years old. It will include active assistance with setting up and organizing the activities, for example:
• Art – ceramics (we have a kiln), paper¬-maché, collages, mosaics, painting, graffiti, stained glass, painting on silk...
• Sport – football, in-lines, skate, biking, climbing, dodge ball, street ball, floorball ...
• Others – work with pc and internet, billiards, table football, board games, needlework...
• Environmental activities in the garden...

The volunteer as an assistant of our team would be able to learn a lot of new practical skills in a field of art, IT, music, evironmental field and sport, but also develope the competences - social and intercultural ones (ability to work in new environment); cooperation - work in a team, cooperation in preparation program offer for clients; communication - volunteer will work with various age groups of children and youth; planning and time management - volunteer will be involved in planning events for local community and small community projects, where he/she can train practise organization skillls.
We will support them in their independent project.
