Resumo: The nonprofit organization was first founded in 2011, with the aim of promoting the cultural education of children and teenagers. It offers, in cooperation with play schools, schools and youth centers, a wide variety of artistic courses. These include instrumental lessons, dance and drama as well as juggling, acrobatics, clowning and the visual arts. All courses are offered as group lessons and are affordable for low-income families. In addition it also offers more comprehensive projects with a workshop character, for example Musical and Dance performances.

Although the organisation is still very young, it has already made a significant development. At present there are approximatly 20 lecturers looking after almost 500 children and young people. Many of these children come from disadvantaged homes and through the “Kunstkarussell” get to learn about the arts and realize their own creative potential for the first time. Social integration with the means of art is one of the central ideas of the organisation, as well as the promotion of multicultural exchange.

On the international aspect of our educational program, we want to continue to focus and develop the program. We want to connect people from different backgrounds of society so that they can enjoy their mutual success, especially in cultural activities. With us the children and teenagers learn that differences do not separate, but are necessary for a lively and respectful coexistence.

We would like to share this attitude to life with volunteers from all over Europe and invite them to enrich the diversity of our program with their creative input. We offer them the opportunity to support our lecturers in their educational process and would be delighted to arrange projects that are initiated by volunteers themselves.
