Resumo: The host organization is a nonprofit association that was created in late 2005 following the permaculture farm project/cultural center, and whose principal objective is to promote a sustainable and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

This project began in 1998 with meetings where people from the region came to share and participate in workshops and activities, mainly related to theater, environment, volunteering and associations. Since 2001, also workcamps with international volunteers have been organized every year.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The EVS volunteer will help the members of the association in their work of coordinating volunteers, participating in meetings and community life. This help will provide the volunteer experience, multiculturalism and knowledge about the proposed alternative and sustainable living that daily becomes a reality among the international volunteers.
The EVS volunteer will also participate in the weekend meetings that are organized. Furthermore, the volunteer is also free to propose and start new projects, organizing activities or bring their own experience.

Horário: An example of daily life would be:

8:00 wake up!
8:30 Breakfast with everyone.
9:00 daily community meeting (volunteers and members of the association) to organize the day's tasks.
9:45 split in groups according to the tasks and projects (gardening, repair, woodworking, recycling, ...)
11:00 Tea break
11:30 resume projects and kitchen responsible of the day start cooking.
13:30 break
14:00 Lunch
16:00 resume projects
18:00 project completion, storing tools, tidy spaces ...
18:30 Free time (showers, internet, leisure proposals for workshops, music, ...)
20:30 coordination team meeting
21:00 Dinner
23:00 Silence
