Resumo: The host organization was created after the Second World War to promote peaceful relations between young British, French and German people and to take part in the European reconstruction (buildings, accommodations…)
aims at:
- Contributing to the liveliness of the social life by the participation of French and foreign volunteers in the achievement of general interest works.
- Favouring the free movement of people and ideas by international exchanges with the goal of awareness, mutual understanding and peace.
- Promote an educational project which encourages an active citizenship (at a local, national, European or international level) of people for a democratic, united and participative society.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: in the structures here listed and in the ones the volunteers are supported by the employees and coordinators of the program so that they can manage their volunteering activities:
- by affinity (one volunteer loved theatre set out a theatre course for the young people)
- for the development of competences (sometimes the tutor tries to motivate the volunteer to go further, like one volunteer that didn’t know he was capable of doing trainings, at the end he participated as a trainer in our workcamp training week, something which was difficult at the beginning to imagine).

There are several exhibitions and activities and volunteers are invited to give their suggestions and their European finger!! Two years ago two volunteers decided to give the theme of World citizenship for their EVS project. They organize different activities around this (making objects with recycle supports, gardening, etc). The after-school club close in the end of June and we suggest to volunteers to co-lead one or two international workcamps in the region. Thing that was really appreciated by them.
