Resumo: The host organization is the oldest music academy in Denmark. It is a dynamic and vibrant artistic educational institution, centred on teaching. An additional important role is to support the development of classical music and enhance its relevance on an ongoing basis, as a central part of contemporary musical and cultural life.

The purpose is to facilitate musical and cultural development and exchange between China and Denmark. The aim is to create synergies and dialogue between the Western classical music and the Chinese music traditions that will actively contribute towards a more global vision of music.
