Resumo: The hosting organization is a non profit association whose mission is to promote learning and playing ice Hockey for ages 4 to 18. Players are divided in different groups and trained separately during the week and week-end.Our teams participate in French championship North/Est league, which involves travel to several french locations. The club is public and open to all regardless of nationality, origin, race, social status or sporting level.The club organization is based on volunteer work: 14 volunteers coaches and 7 administrative volunteers, very involved in the development and knowledge of Ice hockey in Luxembourg.

Perfil: We are looking for volunteer minimum 18 years old, english and/or german language needed, open for new experience, actively seeking contacts, open minded, good knowledge in Ice hockey skills and culture, interested in youth work and in educational methods .

Tarefas: This project provides a great opportunity for a volunteer having Hockey passion and knowledge to apply them in a fast-growing club. During this experience he will contribute to the promotion of Ice hockey culture in luxembourg, as well the importance of young children to engage themselves for a team sport as lesson learned for future life.

The volunteer will get the chance to broaden his skills and interests in working as assistant coach for youth teams, among a very international and inter-cultural youth public together with our members and coaches.

The volunteer should have experience of playing ice hockey, be sociable, speaks english and /or german or french, be friendly and easy establish contact with children of different ages.
The different tasks which the volunteer will do during his stay:
– Support the head coach in the preparation of training sessions with creativity and interest.
– Accompany the teams to the games in France, Germany, Belgium.
– Support the club in events promoting the sport as well learn to play or tournament.
– Actively contribute and share his knowledge and ideas in our activities.
– Support the board in developing and promoting Ice Hockey in Luxembourg trough social media, Facebook, website
