Resumo: The asylum-seekers Center is loncated in Belgium, near the German border. The House accommodates 100 inhabitants of different cultures, nationalities and religions asking for asylum.

Perfil: It is very important for us that the volunteer is an open-minded person, ready to get in touch with different cultures. Connected therewith, is of course that the volunteers have a particular interest in the problems of escape, asylum, migration… He/she should be curious and ready to learn.
As the volunteer has the opportunity to develop and realize his/her own project he/she has to be an active and enthusiastic person, who is strongly motivated to animate the different activities.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: Since the major task of the asylum-seekers center is the accompaniment of the refugees, this will also be the volunteer’s main task. This means that the volunteer will take care of determined services in the daily work (serving meals, distribution of sheets and sanitary articles, working on the reception desk …).
Another important task of the house is the entourage of the asylum-seekers in daily life. This is ensured by organizing different animations and activities in many different fields: sport, culture etc.
