Resumo: Our organization is hosting European volunteers (EVS) since 2003. Our organization is based in small town in Slovenia, but runs its activities all over the country.

The project here last 12 months and is usually implemented in several different practices from making short films to working with local youngsters in media projects.

The project is good for both beginners and professionals in the field of media production. One of the working points - the office is well-equipped with computers for editing as well as all needed for fieldwork and shooting process (cameras, tripods, steady-cams, microphones, lighting etc.). The project is ready to meet the expectations of ambitious young authors in filmmaking and practical work in alternative media field.

Apart from short films and video production the organization's goal is also to develop techniques and methods of teaching the basics of film language, directing, camerawork and editing to young people. So if you are interested in media education, you could improve your practical skills while co-mentoring in series of workshops and trainings for local youngsters.

Here you can learn the basics of directing, camerawork and lighting, editing and post-production. You will also have a chance to be part of short and longer term workshops (Summer and Winter Video Workshops (film making for kids of school age, International documentary film workshop, Kamera (video workshop in framework of Cinema festival, mentored by local and international filmmaking professionals

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: You will get the chance to take part in the organization and running the film festival, which gathers a great number of low or no-budget films and authors from all over the world.

All in all organization is a great place to get and upgrade technical and production knowledge, implement your projects, working in an international group of other volunteers, to learn how to work with young people using alternative media, to learn Slovenian language and integrate in local culture, to meet new people and share your ideas in video form with large audiences.
