Resumo: We are welcoming young volunteers with creative interests and experience in the arts and crafts (dance, theatre, visual arts, film/video making, music and so forth) even sports and/or games, also an interest in youth culture is a merit.
It is important that you have a genuine interest in working with young people maybe even experience in leading youngsters in some activity.
We ask for an open minded attitude in the work with disabled people.

Day Care Centre is a care institution for children, youth with physical disabilities and their parents and also for youth.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: At Youth Centre the volunteer will be involved with the everyday leisure activities of youngsters with disabilities and other young people. In the work we try to integrate these two groups. The task is to help the young people to become more independently thinking and acting in their lives and stimulate their creativity.
The work can for example involve discussion groups, baking, arranging small open stage evenings, playing some games, supporting youngsters in making a video film, playing music with youngsters, helping a beginning band to start rehearsing in the music room or a trips to cultural places.
