Resumo: The aim was to create a new system of medical-social assistance for the incurable patients with cancer in advanced and terminal stages of the disease, as well as for their relatives.

Perfil: We don`t have any special demands that the volunteers has to fullfil. We try to be flexible towards the activities and find tasks that the volunteers enjoy to work with, giving them opportunity to bring their own approach, inovation and personal approach in communicating and expressing their help and support.
Motivation, communication, an open mind and ability to work with different people are the most important key defining features of the sought volunteer profile and will be counted as standard criteria in recruitment process. Good level of English and motivation to learn local language

Tarefas: The proposed activities for the EVS volunteer(s) are the following: (90% of the work will be office based):
Activities for fundraising in support of our direct services (an EVS volunteer with clerical skills can serve our foundation by helping in the office with simple administrative duties; fundraising responsibilities can range from preparing mailings or thank you letters to organizing fundraising events and contacting possible donors);The volunteer will be involved in assisting project coordinators in organizing logistically all kinds of events: trainings, seminars, conferences, roundtables, other. He/She will get acquainted first-hand with all the organizational and logistic stages of a successful training event. Involvement in such activities brings multicultural exposure to the volunteers,
