Resumo: The project in a small town in a rural area. However, we host 10 volunteers in the town, coordinated by other organization. The volunteers are all in different hosting organizations, but cooperate in a collective project about Europe, connecting all the organizations of the town. We appreciate when volunteers are willing to propose projects and to take initiatives. This is also the opportunity to meet more people in the town, and to discover the other hosting organizations and projects.
This is also a way to live with other volunteers

Perfil: A sensibility to being an activity leader, to creative tasks and to the young public, to the local heritage, a good contact with people will ensure a success to the project. No specific knowledge about pottery is required, only an interest.
The volunteer has to be conscious that some of his missions will be on week-ends or during the evenings, according to the activities.
He will have to use a car (according to our possibilities) to go from his flat in Redon to the project in the village of St Jean-la-Poterie. As a consequence, the volunteer needs to have a DRIVING LICENCE.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The center of art and history ceramic is situated in a small village. There are also 2 kindergartens and primary schools in the village. The volunteer will participate to these 3 organizations, with 3 main missions :

Center of art and history ceramic (60%)
- Receiving the public
- Participate to projects and workshops : creating a children's game about the local history of ceramics, organizing ceramics workshops for the children, exhibition and events projects
- Helping for the communication (website, facebook)

WITH THE SCHOOL CHILDREN (30%)
participation to the extra curricular activities for the pupils (3-12 years) organized by the local activity leaders, and after the adaptation period, the volunteer will also have the possibility to propose his own workshops (artistic, cultural, sports, foreign languages…)

COLLECTIVE PROJECT WITH THE OTHER VOLUNTEERS (10%)
Organizing activities about Europe together with the other EVS volunteers
