Resumo: During the next summer, the association would like to fill with life the town they are based in. We strongly believe that hosting international volunteers is a good way to fulfil this objective. We want to keep on non-formal activities and make the town's inhabitants, especially the youth, living a nice and educative summer. The objectives are
various, and some of them are described below.

It is really important to us to bring a strong intercultural experience to any person we host and who comes to take part of our activities. Being fully member of our organisation, each volunteer will also have language courses and the chance to develop many relevant skills for his/her personal and professional future.

Being spread all over Europe, the Roma people has, more than any other, a European identity and a legitimacy to be recognised as such. Nevertheless, they are one of the most discriminated and unknown culture in Europe, and this for centuries. One of our organisation's main objective is to fight against discrimination through the promotion of
the Roma culture and way-of-life and the practice of non-formal education.

The volunteer will evolve in a multicultural environment where Roma, Romanian and various other European cultures are cohabiting together. The host organization is also aiding to increase both local and Europeans' awareness toward Roma and the situations they are facing in Romania and in Europe.

The Roma way-of-life is nature-friendly but the population of this area are not aware enough of both local and global environmental issues. The volunteer will be required to lead non-formal education programs toward the kids and advertise these issues to adults. This ecological dimension will have to be included in each projects.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: ● One of our activities will be to build up traditional Roma houses (Chirpici). The point of this task is to make them discover the Roma wayoflife.

● Leading the association’s activities in Cozmesti’s school. One of the association's main project concerns these Roma and nonRoma children in Cozmesti, a village near Pascani.
The volunteers will also be asked to spend a few days there each week.

● Organizing a multidisciplinary festival about Romas in Romania and elsewhere. The host organization is going to organise a cultural festival focused on Romas. The volunteers will provide support to logistic activities, contacting and welcoming partners, advertising the festival in the town and around the town, leading social media promotion...

● Helping to promote the association in Romania and in the rest of Europe. The association is writing on its website daily, in order to report activities. The volunteer’s tasks will also include network building and some office work.

● Various tasks related to the events the organisation needs to prepare during summer 2016. Beside the festival, the organisation seeks to set up many events during the summer, as welcoming young people from France in a twoweeks
summer camp, for example.
