Resumo: DDM - Déčko Dům dětí a mládeže Rychnov nad Kněžnou is an educational institution and organisation which offers mainly non-formal education for children, young people and adults. Our aim is to follow the criteria set out by the national department of education for such institutions in the Czech Republic, with the mission of offering free-time activities which promote learning, self-development, team-building and community spirit for children and young people. This mission is realised through more than 100 hobby groups focused on different interests like dancing, arts and crafts, painting, nature, sports, outdoor activities, music, technical activities, photography and many more. Hobby groups are suitable for children from 2 to 18 years, as well as for parents with small children and for young adults according to their interests. Larger events, competitions and excursions take place throughout the year and during the summer we prepare and host a range of summer camps.
