Resumo: The host organization is highly committed to offering high quality international education to assist the progress of regional potential into global value. The host organization is the open gate towards the world, the nest where we cultivate knowledgeable students, international spirit and personalities of global leaders.
Perfil: Age: 17-30
Tarefas: The EVS volunteers will be actively involved in the act of learning through a medium that both educates and entertains, consisting in assisting the classroom teachers and taking part in curricular activities, Monday to Friday, before lunch. In the afternoon, they will assist, lead and take active part in the “GAMIFICATION”, using game mechanics and game design techniques in non-game contexts-education, for school children within the following:
Language Clubs - assist the primary school teachers in educational activities meant to teach English using a non-formal approach and methods such as games, songs, dance, drama and puppet theatre reading, arts and sports.
Nonformal education activities with primary school children rural areas
They will assist in and coordinate indoor and outdoor activities and non-formal educational programmes for children and youth:
“Gate to Languages”, “Halloween”, “Multicultural Transylvania”, “International Education Week”, “Treasure Diversity”, “Christmas Fair”, “Winter Festival” “L.O.V.E. & Good Manners“, “Spring Fantasia”, “Drugs Change Everything”, “Easter”, “Plant for the Planet”, “Europe Day & Let’s Put a Face to Europe”, “Kids Day”, “Children’s Rights”, “International Playground”, thus playing an active part in the life of our organisation and of the community as well. They will also design and implement a community project to actively involve children and youth with fewer opportunities, make at least six public events to promote core EU vales through non-formal education and volunteering to the local community as part of their international project:
“The Day of Volunteering” – public event as part of the “National Week of Volunteering” to promote volunteering amongst youth through various educational activities, “The Non-formal Education Day” – public event organized to promote non-formal education within the local community through various methods, “Youth is the Future” - public event organized to celebrate youth and their contribution to society, Workshops - Cultural week/country .
