Resumo: The municipality is located in an area very attractive to tourist. Forests (representing 50% of its surface ), lakes, clean air, spectacular scenery, more than 50 clean lakes and numerous agrotourist farms are main advantages. There are ideal conditions for many leisure activities, such as fishing, hiking, biking and canoeing where one can encounter en route, churches, roadside shrines. Municipality is visited by approximately by 250 000 tourists annually.

In spite our affords access to culture and cultural heritage generally, and in particular the means to create and experience culture, are not available equally to all children and young people.
Young people who are without work, training or money have no idea how to spend their free time; they experiment with drugs, some of them have alcohol problems, often they do not see any future in the place where they live.
There is a conflict between adults and youngsters. The youngsters often feel that adults do not understand them, they do not trust adults and do not try to reach agreement with them. But, the young people need the support of adults. A large group of children are neglected by their parents for economic, social and personal reasons - these children/families need systematic external support in coping with their resulting problems in the community, at school and at home.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: Volunteers invited by us will have many possibilities to develop their skills in the culture-animation projects, assisting in the painting, dance, theater, fire theatre, crafts - both traditional and contemporary (pottery, ceramics, lace), African drums, computer, internet, readings books together, early childhood education, music, new media activities and others. They will have the opportunity to participate in the intercultural dialogue, cultural heritage, oral history and other projects.

Those of them who are interested in journalism will work for our local monthly magazine.

Our volunteers will have opportunity to work preparing various artistic events, such as concerts, spectacles, vernissages, various charitable activities (such as Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity for instance).
Volunteers will also have opportunities to get to know organizational and technical aspects of Cultural Center activities such as: data collection, providing information about activities, graphic, visual and audiovisual works, acoustic and lighting systems etc

Our Center cooperates with schools in the municipality, our volunteers will be welcome to visits frequently schools and present to the pupils their culture, their country and their own talents.

The range of proposed activities is large, but we would like oncoming volunteers to have the opportunity to bring their own ideas and proposals for work.

Last but not least we will ask volunteers to participate and support cultural activities
