Resumo: Our Foundation is a non-profit-making organization that contributes since 2005, from its ethical commitment, with supports and opportunities, to develop in each person with intellectual disability, development disability or in social exclusion risk at rural area, their life project with quality, as well as to promote their incorporation as full citizen in a fair and solidary society.

Nowadays the Foundation works with people in social exclusion risk (intellectual disability and youth at rural area) trhough activities that are developed in several centers: in a Day Center and an occupational Center for people with intellectual disability and in a municipal Youth hostel (which management is in charge of Foundation). It is necessary to emphasize that in this Lodging several people with intellectual disability take part with their work in specific activities, as well as they use the above mentioned facilities like Center of leisure (to realize workshops of artistic recycling). Also, young people have a Point of Juvenile Information, and it is used as a place of meeting and training (Foundation has coordinated several international Work camps there).

We manage activities with local volunteering: there is a group of young women of the village who want to live the experience of helping people with intellectual disability, of every ages, to help them to develop according to their potentials. We would like this volunteering could continue living the experience of contributing to increase quality of life moments and personal satisfaction with people with intellectual or development disability.
