Resumo: The organizatiom and Youths Centre is situated in a little town some 90 kilometres from the capital. It can be reached by bus or train and the journey takes less than two hours. There are about 18 000 inhabitants and about one third of them are children and youths, aged 6-25. The town is a popular tourist centre. It has a beautiful old town with ancient wooden buildings, medieval castle ruins and wonderful forests, rocks and caves. In 2006 we celebrated its 800th anniversary.

People can take rest in its beautiful surroundings-go for a walk, pick berries or mushrooms or simply relax. The city is not far from the Baltic Sea. In an hour you can reach its sandy beaches. Cesis is also surrounded by several lakes suited for swimming and fishing. In winter we have a skiing and snowboarding centre frequented by people throughout Latvia. The organization is developing. We have several cafes, pubs, dance clubs. There is a sports and recreation centre, various baths and fitness halls. In summer a lot of festivals, concerts, theatre performances and sport events are held in Cesis. Every year we have `the organizations Day` and the closing concert or performance of The National Opera of Latvia.

Part of the city are parks and green areas. We have many possibilities for walks at nice landscapes. If you love nature and forests, Cesis is the right place to come!
Of course volunteers will have possibility to take part in the organization interest programs. The organization is a big centre with good technical equipment and about 800 pupils. The staff is ready to provide him/her with the necessary professional as well as material support in accordance with our finances.

Perfil: The organization do not put forward any standards for the choice of volunteer among the people interested in the implementation of our Project. The most important condition is the volunteer`s willingness to work exactly in our organization, desire and ability to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and proficiency for carrying out definite tasks. Preference will be given to volunteers who are really willing to work with children and youths, organize their activities and those having already some experience in work with children. The volunteers are offered practical activities, not work in the office.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: Our project will give our volunteers an opportunity to work with kinds and youth in Youth centre
- to help in English class and in any other interest groups. Volunteers will be also involved in different youth organizatins that organizes activities for kids and youth
- sports day, art activities, musical events etc.
