Resumo: The host organization aim is to put cultural and spiritual values into learning process. Its mission – to teach little children, organize their every day life and activities to promote love, sharing and self-expression. Also to look after their health, cooperate with parents.
This kindergarten offers a non formal education for kids bellow school age. (children from 3 years old).
It boasts large number of international and local relations with other formal and not formal institutions.

The kindergarten has about 25 pedagogic workers, social worker, 29 other workers, accountant, secretary. A team of three people will be responsible for volunteer project in the organization. Social worker will help to plan volunteers work time at first months, also will encourage volunteer to express himself. One group teacher will be responsible for daily activities and director - for all volunteers time in organization and all his/her needs.
Every year in this kindergarten college students make their practices. These students make their practices and volunteer also in summer time.

Kindergarten staff knows little english and german languages.
Coordinating organization cultural cente ris situated near city’s centre and also not far away from river bank. There is a park outside the organization building.
In the same building there are situated all catholic organizations like Youth centre, Family center, Scouts, foundation, etc.

Perfil: Volunteer profiles and recruitment process:The volunteers in kindergarten should in general be interested and willing to work with children. This is simple the only condition we have for volunteers. No further experiences or skills are required.
This project is coordinated by the kultural center. Within the networks of coordinating organisation the project placement is promo invite and all young people interested in the hosting placements are invited to apply. An application consist of a CV, a Motivation letter and the full details of the responsible sending organisation. The selection will be made within the team.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: This Kindergarten is open five days a week. From Monday till Friday. Work day starts at 7:30 and ends 18:15. Early morning group start its work at 6:30 and evening group finishes at 19:00. This schedule can be changed due to parents wishes. Teachers needs and groups work conditions.
7:00-9:00 games, sport, breakfast preparations, breakfast.
9:30-10:30 “Morning circle”. Weekly discussions, educational programs, Art, games, building, family workshops, languages, sport and music hours. Spiritual education is integrated in all the process.
10:30-12:00 activities outside. (walking, exploring nature, games, health issues)
12:00-12:45 Preparation for lunch, lunch.
15:15- Health time or dances.
From 15:30 till the end of a day – Preparations for dinner, dinner, games, Teachers time to talk to parents.
16:00-20;00 – Art Activities: teater, musik, cerami, art, cinema and ect.

In this institution child gets all the support needed. If he has any problems with speech, social issues, movement, he can get all the help needed.
Volunteers activities – creative education, social, inter cultural, community building. Preliminary activities are associated with year circle and religion time. These issues are integrated into learning process and done well for young age kids.
The main work of volunteer could be games:
Social games, traditional games, active games, music games, games outside.
We would like to have a volunteer which could integrate his experience with kids into daily learning process. Also volunteer should know how to deal with kids and love them.
The preliminary work distribution – 60% creative work with kids, 30% - kids supervision in groups, 10% administrative work.
Also we will provide with individual Lithuanian language courses if volunteer need it not less than 3 months.
Volunteer will have a possibility to travel and spend time in coordinating organization, together with its members and local youth. We offer different travels, daily activities. Also he/she will have its free time.
