Resumo: The host organization is a city with longer that one thousand years old history situated by The Baltic Sea.
The cultural life is as rich as its history. There are many monuments here with the extraordinary Old Town at the head. The nearness of the town and additionally enriches the attractiveness of stay. Currently the town is also a city developing in a dynamic way in the economic field.

We rent 2 flats with 2 or 3 rooms and until now we host 7 volunteers at the same time.
Its also good to know that in Gdansk we have a lot of cultural events. Music, theatre, video art festivals are important in local live.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: Our volunteers are working with people with intellectual disabilities.
They are working in workshops with art and sport activities. In education rehabilitation center for people with high disabilities (volunteers are involved in working in group). They support our people in individual work but also in group activities in Daily Center.
Also they work is support in home for disabled people.
We have also orchestra for people with intellectual disabilities and music school for them.
But also we have theatre and music workshops for Evs volunteers and for polish disabled
and polish volunteers. Another think is “Big brother – Big Sister”
activity. Every volunteer have his own disabled “friend” and they have
to meet one time in the week and spend time like a friends. So go to
restaurant to cinema or play some sport together.
